What is the working principle of fixed stacker reclaimer?
The fixed stacker-reclaimer is an important equipment used for material handling in storage yards. Its working principle mainly includes two processes: stacking and reclaiming.
When stacking materials:
Materials are usually transported to the boom of the stacker-reclaimer through conveying equipment such as belt conveyors. The unloading device on the boom will evenly stack the materials at the designated location of the stockpile in a predetermined manner. For example, by controlling the moving speed and angle of the unloading device, the materials can be stacked in layers to ensure the stability and storage capacity of the stockpile.
When retrieving materials:
The retrieving device of the stacker-reclaimer, such as scrapers and bucket wheels, will move along the surface of the materials in the yard. During the movement, the retrieving device scrapes or digs the materials, and then transports the materials to the subsequent processing links through conveyor belts and other conveying equipment. For example, when the bucket wheel of a bucket-wheel stacker-reclaimer rotates, the bucket will cut into the materials and dig out the materials.
In general, fixed stacker-reclaimers achieve efficient storage and retrieval of materials in yards through their unique structure and working mode, and are widely used in material handling sites in ports, mines, power and other industries.
Fixed stacker-reclaimers are usually fixed in one position, and reclaim materials through the rotation and pitching of the cantilever and reclaiming devices such as scrapers or bucket wheels. The retrieved materials are transported to the designated location for stacking through conveying equipment such as conveyor belts.
