How to fix Stationary Conveyor problems
May 13, 2025
When a problem occurs with the Stationary Conveyor, it can be repaired by following the steps and methods below:
Belt deviation problem
First, check whether the conveyor frame is installed horizontally and firmly. If it is tilted or loose, it needs to be adjusted and reinforced. Then, check whether the rollers are parallel. If not, adjust the bolts of the roller bearing seat to restore the rollers to a parallel state. In addition, check whether the tension on both sides of the belt is consistent. Adjust it through the tensioning device to ensure that the belt remains centered during operation.
Belt wear problem
Check whether the material is evenly distributed on the belt. If the material is piled up on one side, it is easy to cause belt wear. The feeding device needs to be adjusted to ensure uniform feeding of the material. Check whether the roller rotates flexibly. If the roller is stuck, it will cause friction with the belt and cause wear. The damaged roller should be replaced in time. At the same time, check whether there is interference between the belt and other components. If so, adjust the position of the components to eliminate the interference.
Drive motor failure
Check whether the power supply circuit of the motor is normal and whether there is any open circuit or short circuit. If the circuit is damaged, repair or replace it in time. Check the heat dissipation of the motor. If the heat dissipation is poor, the motor temperature will be too high. Clean the heat dissipation channel or check whether the cooling fan is working properly. If the motor makes abnormal sounds or vibrations, it may be that the internal parts of the motor are damaged. Contact a professional for repair.
Reducer failure
Check whether the oil level of the reducer is normal. If the oil level is too low, add appropriate lubricating oil. Check the seal of the reducer. If there is oil leakage, replace the seal. If there is abnormal noise or excessive vibration during the operation of the reducer, it may be that the internal gears are worn or the bearings are damaged. Disassemble and inspect and replace the damaged parts.
