Linear swing ship loaders mainly consist of the following key components:
Drive system
It is the power source of the ship loader, usually including motor, reducer, etc. The motor provides the initial power, and the reducer converts the high-speed rotation of the motor into the appropriate speed and torque according to the actual operation requirements to drive the various moving parts of the ship loader, such as the swing of the cantilever and the operation of the belt.
Cantilever structure
This is one of the core components of the ship loader, used to transport materials from the shore to the ship's cabin. The cantilever generally has the function of retracting and swinging, which is achieved through a hydraulic system or mechanical transmission. Its length and load-bearing capacity are designed according to different usage requirements, and the material is usually made of high-strength steel to ensure stability and reliability under heavy loads.
Conveying system
Generally, a belt conveyor is used, which is installed on a cantilever and is responsible for conveying materials from the silo or other feeding equipment to the ship's hold. The belt width, belt speed and conveying capacity of the belt conveyor are determined according to the overall design and operation requirements of the ship loader. At the same time, the conveying system is also equipped with tensioning devices, rollers and other components to ensure the normal operation of the belt and the stable conveying of materials.
Pitch mechanism
It is used to adjust the pitch angle of the boom so that the ship loader can adapt to ships of different drafts and ship types. The pitch mechanism is usually composed of transmission parts such as hydraulic cylinders, wire ropes or gear racks, and the cantilever can be raised and lowered smoothly through precise control.
Rotating mechanism
The ship loader can rotate around the vertical axis to expand the operating range. The rotating mechanism generally adopts gear transmission or roller support structure to ensure the stability and accuracy of the ship loader during the rotation process.
Electrical control system
Responsible for centralized control and monitoring of all parts of the ship loader. Through PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and other automation equipment, precise control of the drive system, cantilever movement, conveying system, etc. is achieved, while real-time monitoring of the equipment's operating status and parameters ensures safe and reliable operation of the equipment.
